Named after the street the chef lived on when he dreamed up the concept, this sophisticated spot draws influences from the many cultures that have helped to shape the port city of Cape Town. Henry Vigar – who also owns much-loved French restaurant La Mouette – applies modern techniques to quality local ingredients to produce a tasting menu of tapas-style sharing plates. Boerenkaas (farmhouse cheese) croquettes with curried aioli sit alongside hake bhaji with cauliflower, apple puree and sour fig curry sauce The wine list also includes some unusual regional pours.
