A tasting-menu-only restaurant from the El Barri group led by El Bulli’s famous Adrià brothers, Pakta explores Peruvian Nikkei over some 20 courses. Local seafood is served raw and lightly cooked in dishes such as tuna belly crispy cone, egg with fish roe and cod fish soba. The discreet, long dining room decorated with nautical ceiling ropes has a distinctly Japanese feel, with a raw counter where diners can watch the chefs demonstrating their knife skills. Pakta mastermind Albert Adrià also runs Tickets and Enigma, both regulars in The World’s 50 Best Restaurants.
