Entering Albert Adrià’s temple to the art of tapas is like stepping into a gastronomic wonderland. Five small-plate bars and open kitchens surround the seating area, which is accessed via a vintage circus ticket booth. The dessert area has all the whimsy of Willy Wonka’s factory, with giant berries hanging from the ceiling and pastry chefs plying their art right under diners' noses. The food is just as creative: crunchy octopus, the world tour of oysters and the trademark spherified olives pioneered by the Adrià brothers at El Bulli.
