Momofuku Ko

Effectively two restaurants under one roof, David Chang’s Ko is a place of delicious dichotomy. The front counter is where gourmands go for chef Sean Gray's tasting menus, stretching upwards of 17 courses and tough to reserve. In the more casual bar, diners can drop in any time and plot their own course, with a burger and a beer, say, or a glass of grower champagne and Gray's legendary duck and foie gras pithivier (meat pie). All of it carries the unmistakable Momofuku DNA: American cuisine with lots of Asian (especially Japanese) influence and a dash of irreverent individuality.
