Run by award-winning chef Corey Lee of World's 50 Best newcomer Benu, In Situ brings together Korean and Japanese flavours with Californian ingredients to create New American cuisine with a twist. Housed within San Francisco’s Museum of Modern Art, In Situ pays tribute to the greatest hits of the world’s best chefs while keeping sustainability at heart. The current menu from Lee’s culinary crack team includes Clare Smyth’s ‘Potato and Roe’, dill-brined cabbage from Simon Rogan at L’Enclume and Mugaritz’s ‘Interpretation of Vanity’. All are faithful replicas of the masters’ works. Much like the museum, low-key yet stylish decor allows artistic dishes to shine.
