The legend tells that 2,000 years ago in the Mediterranean city of Cartagena, Spain, locals produced a delicious golden elixir from the fruit and herbs gathered from the surrounding countryside. Conquering Romans showed their admiration for the drink by naming it ‘Liquor Mirabilis’.

Founded back in 1946,  Licor 43 – the fastest growing international liqueur-  is still produced in Cartagena, Spain, from a secret Spanish family recipe of 43 natural ingredients, which include Mediterranean citrus fruit and other selected botanicals.

This premium liqueur has a complex, but harmonic flavour profile that can be perceived at four levels; the reminiscence of lively aromas of Mediterranean citrus gardens, the botanicals and subtle touch of coriander, the sweet palate of mature fruit with nuances of vanilla, and the floral notes of Mediterranean orange and lemon blossom.
