Since joining William Reed Business Media in 2014, Vasu has dedicated her time to becoming an avid cook and has recently taken part in a truffle-finding course.

    William is the Group Editor of The World's 50 Best Restaurants and Restaurant magazine. He has been a journalist and editor for two decades, spanning business-to-business and consumer magazines, as well as national newspapers. He is a former editor of style magazine Arena and continues to write and comment on food and restaurants in the UK and international media. He is privileged to have eaten in a healthy proportion of The World's 50 Best Restaurants, though the experience hasn’t been so healthy for his waistline.

    Laura is responsible for all content across The World’s 50 Best Restaurants global portfolio, including the print guidebooks, website, social media, and event coverage. After working for several years as a financial journalist, Laura joined the 50 Best team in 2014 with a view to combining her three main passions: food, travel and writing. Laura has a soft spot for Latin America and has lived in Brazil, Argentina, Mexico and Ireland. She is fluent in Spanish and Portuguese and is also a qualified translator.
