A pioneer of KL's speakeasy movement, Three X Co continues to evolve without losing sight of its roots. Hidden behind a barbershop in Bangsar Shopping Centre, the bar blends chinoiserie elegance with easy-going charm – its signature mural of a Chinese opera diva with martini and cigar in hand still watching over the crowd. It's a place that respects cocktail tradition but isn't afraid to mess with it, led today by head bartender Amanda Wan, a World Class Malaysia champion and seasoned industry voice with stints in Hong Kong, New York and Singapore under her belt.

The 2024 menu Indi V Duality is a celebration of self-expression, offering drinks that are both playful and precise. One section explores classic forms with a twist; the other, original creations built on unexpected contrasts. Each drink is tied to a persona – like the irreverent Whimsy Wabbit (a lychee martini twist accompanied by a jade jelly rabbit) or the bold Naughty Nana, which mixes bourbon and banana liqueur with Chinese Tie Guan Yin tea – inviting guests to discover their own bar alter ego.
