A living KL legend

A pioneer of KL's speakeasy movement, Three X Co continues to evolve without losing sight of its roots. Hidden behind a barbershop in Bangsar Shopping Centre, the bar blends chinoiserie elegance with easy-going charm – its signature mural of a Chinese opera diva with martini and cigar in hand still watching over the crowd. It's a place that respects cocktail tradition but isn't afraid to mess with it.

After the success of the 2024 menu Indi V Duality, the team created Individuality 2.0. Much like its predecessor, the menu celebrates self-expression and offers drinks that are both playful and precise. Each drink is tied to a persona: there's the laidback Mellow Michel (rye whiskey, bourbon, macadamia, sesame oil, oyster sauce, lemon, peanut candy); the playful Naughty Nana (bourbon, kokuto, banana liqueur, bitters, citrus, egg whites, cocoa bitters); and the sultry Smokey Sierra (mezcal, sloe gin, Campari, sweet vermouth, caramelised grapefruit, rosemary). And, in 2025, the team went on a tour across Malaysia with the menu, examining how different locals in different cities connected with the cocktails.
