Located within The Connaught hotel in Mayfair, Connaught Bar has become one of the defining institutions of modern cocktail culture since opening in 2008. Designed by the late, great David Collins, the room balances silver leaf walls, mirrored surfaces and Cubist-inspired detailing without losing the warmth and elegance expected of a grand London hotel bar. Under the leadership of Ago Perrone alongside Giorgio Bargiani, the bar established a model that bridged classic luxury hospitality with contemporary cocktail thinking, reshaping expectations of what a hotel bar could be.

Well-shod guests flock for the bar's biggest drawcard – its signature martini trolly, which remains one of the most recognisable rituals in global bartending. Guests can personalise their drinks by choosing bespoke bitters and garnishes as martinis are prepared tableside with meticulous precision. Beyond the martini, the menu focuses on cocktails built around clarity and elegance rather than spectacle, often using distillates, infused spirits and carefully calibrated dilution to achieve balance. The service style mirrors the drinks themselves, polished and choreographed without becoming distant.
