Vibey drinkery focused on giving guests a good time

There's something for everyone at Tjoget, in Stockholm's bustling Hornstull neighbourhood. There's a beer café, intended as an homage to the old neighbourhood, where small plates, snacks, coffee, craft beer and Czech-style pilsner are all on offer. Then there's the restaurant, which specialises in Mediterranean-style small plates (recent menu items include vitello tonnato, pizzetta and octopus with romesco, chimichurri and fried potato).

Still, the heart of Tjoget is its cocktail bar. Since opening in 2012, the bar has achieved great acclaim (in 2025, it reached No.76 on the extended list of The World's 50 Best Bars), all by staying true to its mission of serving great cocktails in a great environment. Despite its undeniable technical skill, the bar team's greatest strength lies in showing guests a good time. The cocktails are impressive, but the focus is on drinkability rather than spectacle and as the night wears on, the atmosphere builds with sets from notable local DJs.

The cocktail menu is divided into three sections: classics, Tjoget classics and seasonal cocktails. From the classics, the Dirty Martini (made with the addition of champagne vinegar) stands out. For a true taste of Tjoget, opt for the Polo Lounge Martini, made with vodka, Cocchi Americano, browned butter and sage, or the Beets by Tjoget, featuring 'spa retreated beetroot', vodka, lemon, coconut, ginger and nutmeg. Current seasonal offerings include the Mango Garibaldi (Campari, white cacao, mango juice, coconut, lime), the Tequila Gimlet (tequila, white port, white cacao, cucumber, celery, lime) and the Sash Bamboo (gin, vermouth, manzanilla Sherry, fino Sherry, banana).
