Cure sparked the restoration of uptown New Orleans' Freret Street corridor in the wake of the flooding following Hurricane Katrina. En route to winning numerous honours, Cure also helped restore craft cocktails to the Crescent City and much of the US South. In 2024, Cure celebrated its 15th anniversary and its modern interior is still filled daily with destination drinkers and regulars alike. Working in front of the most extensive backbar in a city famed for spirits, the Cure team shake and stir with grace.

The cocktail list – a collaboration between founder Neal Bodenheimer, general manager Sam DeLucia, lead bartender Liz Kelley and team – offers clean, balanced and bright original cocktails inspired by the Southern palate. The talented team collaborated with the bartenders to create a rotating menu of seasonal cocktails. Alongside each cocktail's name, you'll find a brief tasting description, and the name of the bartender who created it. Take the Fun Fact, for example: a brainchild of Liz Kelley, it features toasted pink peppercorns, vanilla and soursop for an inviting, easy sip. Those in search of a superlative sipper will find solace in the Reserve Cocktail List featuring an assortment of booze-forward classic cocktails mixed with very top-shelf ingredients. Under the supervision of chef Alfredo Nogueria, the kitchen offers snacks like cacio e pepe devilled eggs, nonna's meatballs and caviar, as well as an impressive array of charcuterie and cheeses.
