Seafood and shellfish are the dishes of the day at Ostradamus, with a particular love for oysters sourced from nearby Santa Catalina island. A bright and nautical interior suggests a tourist trap, but chef Jaime Barcelos takes great care of his bivalves, filtering them for 12 hours before they are served. The oyster menu includes covers natural, gratin and vinaigrette among other preparations. The table to book is on the pier – and with any luck, dolphins will swim by as you eat.
