Nestled in the foothills of the Sredna Gora mountain range, the Midalidare Estate was founded in 2009 and encompasses four vineyards, a boutique hotel and spa, a gastropub, and waterside chalets for fishing and awe‑inspiring walks. Day guests visit the easternmost winery, where all tours include a 'Library of Varieties' showcasing young‑vine examples of all major grape types grown – an immersive introduction to the terroir and methods behind the sustainably focused red, white, rosé and, more recently, sparkling wines. The charming hotel sits in the nearby village of Mogilovo, offering summer dining in its beautiful gardens and an ice rink come winter. The spa features hydromassage, a Roman bath, a hammam and wine therapy, while tennis, volleyball and football are available for sports enthusiasts – who can also watch matches on the big screens in the estate's pub. Rock fans should look out for the annual three‑day music festival.
