Luxury unfolds in two different spaces at Sora – which means “sky” in Japanese – the 37th-floor showstopper located inside the Vattanac Capital building, which is home to the Rosewood Phnom Penh. The first bar is a stately indoor lounge and whiskey library, which has the largest single malt collection in Cambodia (plus an upscale selection of cigars). The second space, a rooftop deck bar with phenomenal views of the buzzing city below, is unlike any other in the world. Veteran cocktail bartender Bob Louison – who is best known for opening Pussyfoot Saloon and starting Sool Bar Week in South Korea, though he has worked behind the stick in New York, London and Barcelona over the course of several decades as well – has curated an unforgettable cocktail menu for the bar, featuring Cambodian ingredients as told through the lens of Japanese mythology.
