Bar Nacarat is set within the glitzy Fairmont Queen Elizabeth, combining a seriously chic cocktail lounge and an elegant roof terrace. In non-COVID-times, the drinks offering is experimental in presentation and technique – think hand-carved ice and spherified garnishes – but whilst the world remains in the grip of the pandemic, only the outdoor space is open, and the offering has been adjusted accordingly. The cocktails are crowd-pleasing takes on spritzes and sangrias, along with a frozen offering named Bourbon & Coconut, which blends bourbon, coconut, pineapple, banana and lime. There's also food fresh from the barbecue and regular DJ sets – sounds like a party to us.
