While most resort bars are owned by corporations, a group of savvy friends opened The Raven Room in the Pan Pacific Village Centre Hotel with the hopes of bringing something new and reflective of the local landscape to Whistler’s food and drink scene. The team has since delivered tenfold. With a menu of low-intervention wines, craft beers and a cocktail list that celebrates seasonal ingredients, the bar is unequivocally one of the best in the region. In warm weather, the outdoor patio beckons with views of the mountains beyond, and in the coldest months there’s nothing better than swinging through for an aprés ski session near the fire, or inside the cozy bar itself, where local regulars and tourists alike gather over winter warmers.
