In contrast with the lively cantina located just below, Otro Bar is a place to slow your right down.You’ll want to take it all in, starting with the building which dates back to 1905, and has carefully preserved its original wooden walls and floors. Instead of a traditional bar, there are stainless steel counters, and, a visible lab with high-tech cocktail equipment, offering a glimpse behind the scenes. Here, the team transform ingredients local to Costa Rica – corn, bananas, coffee and more – into creative signature serves, alongside the tried and true classics. Music, played on vinyl, is the final layer, making full use of the room’s strong acoustics.
