Ferme de la Ruchotte chef/owner Frédéric Menager has a passion for poultry. After training in some of France's most renowned kitchens, he started rearing rare, flavoursome species of fowl at this idyllic farmhouse inn nestled in the Burgundy hills. The result is a foodie paradise serving sumptuous lunches (it's not open for dinner) using the freshest vegetables grown in the surrounding fields and the farm’s chickens. Five-course lunches are served five times a week. For a real gastronomic experience, look for the grand feasts that take place 12 times a year.
