Witness Hôtel Hameau Albert 1er, whose Michelin two-star restaurant offers destination dining at the foot of Mont Blanc. Head chef Damien Leveau – predecessor Pierre Maillet’s right-hand man from 2014-2018 – sends out technically brilliant Piedmont and Liguria-inspired dishes enhanced by herbs from the well-stocked kitchen garden. Beautifully orchestrated amuse-bouche, standout breads with artisan butters, a superb alpine cheese selection, artful desserts and petits fours, as well as a vast wine cellar containing some 19,000 bottles, complete the picture.
