Finding this ship-themed-bar is half the adventure: meander down a quaint leafy village lane, to a former fishing boat dock that has been transformed into one of Goa's most distinct drinking spots. With walls painted in soft teal, the space’s plush couches, solid wood bar and seafront bay windows do much to foster a sense of coastal charm and maritime intrigue.The focus is, unapologetically, set on rum, with a menu that covers tiki-leaning punches, classic daiquiris and persuasive originals. Try the coffee-spiked Bitter and Buzzed, which uses a base of Jamaican rum, or for something velvety, the pineapple-coconut piña colada with cream sherry. Commitment-phobes take note: a dedicated "halfzies" section allows sampling at a half-pour size. A hefty bar snack menu will keep you put, with favourites spanning crispy river prawns, chorizo jam on toast with jalapeños and cheese and a poached plum and rum crepe suzette.
