La Vecchia Osteria da Totu
Patterned tablecloths, flagstone floors and staff who have been working at the restaurant for most of their lives, this family run osteria in the shadow of a Baroque cathedral oozes classic Italian hospitality. Expect authentic Salento and Pugliese specialties, made from locally sauced ingredients and prepared with panache by the restaurant’s co-founder Salvatore Campilongo. Turcinieddrhi (lamb rolls made with heart, liver and lung) sit alongside sagne ncannulate (typical pasta from Lecce) with tomato sauce.
