Ceretto

- No.19 The World's 50 Best Vineyards 2025
The Ceretto family has been making wine in Piedmont since the 1930s, and the current generation invites you with warmth and brio to sample the delights of the Langhe region. That might be through Barolo‑centric tastings – taking the 'Shades of Nebbiolo' tutorial – or walking through the Monsordo Bernardino vineyards just outside Alba (home of truffles and hazelnuts; besides wine, the Cerettos are also proud nougat producers), where a futuristic glass bubble reminiscent of a grape floats over the vineyards for drinking wine in. It is just one of a series of artworks, which also includes a giant glass cube and the colourful Barolo Chapel amid other vines.
