Despite having just 10 tables, Le Calandre has been a regular on World’s 50 Best list for more than a decade. Massimiliano and Raffaele Alajmo – sons of founders Erminio Alajmo and Rita Chimetto – took over the family restaurant in 1994, and have since turned it into both an award-winning icon and the heart of the Alajmo Group, now spanning 12 restaurants across three countries. Choose from the long loved signatures, which include the Cappuccino Murrina, a tribute to Venice's glass-blowing heritage with cuttlefish, sea urchin and finished with beetroot and spirulina and saffron risotto emboldened with liquorice, inspired by a Florentine sculpture. The wine list boasts has some seriously high-end pours priced too.
