Mixologist Hidenori Murata is the captain of the ship at Le Club, a dramatic underground bar in the Ichibancho neighborhood that has been open since 1994. Known as one of the most creative bartenders in Japan, Murata-san creates astonishing cocktails inspired by Japanese cuisine, and no dish is off-limits as inspiration – he's made drinks inspired by ramen, Japanese curry, sherbert, sushi and more. The inventive and playful creations are served in fanciful vessels to enhance the experience, and if outside-the-box combinations are not your thing, the bar also offers solid classic, vintage and alcohol-free cocktails as well. Note: smoking is allowed.
