Owned by the growing Parmigiano Group, which operates restaurants and venues across Kazakhstan, Barmaglot is a slick and stylish operation. Inspired by Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland, the well thought out drinks contain unexpected mixes. The really very pretty: ‘The Butterfly’, named for the tea that lends it’s a purple hue, is a blend of Butterfly Tea-infused Belvedere Vodka, essence of lemon and strawberry topped with grapefruit and rosemary tonic, served copa style. There are regular DJ sessions, too, and a selection of crowd-pleasing bar bites, such as sliders and wedges.
