This Westlands bar manages to capture the essence of global cocktail culture while remaining unmistakeably centred in Nairobi. A relative newcomer, the bar is light and airy, with a colourful, plant-filled interior, tiled bar, DJ decks and even a fireplace that gives it an easy, lived-in feel. The cocktail list is a mix of familiar and original – everything from newfangled classics such as the Pine-Aperol Daiquiri to novel creations like the Night Night From Negril, which uses dark rum, Fernet, banana liqueur and citrus. Food is no afterthought, with small plates such as smashed cucumbers, labneh and a sharing cheese plate. A well balanced wine list covers everywhere from Sicily to South Africa, via Austria, Australia and beyond.
