Château Kefraya
West Bekka Valley, Lebanon
- No.92 The World's 50 Best Vineyards 2025
Wine has been made in Lebanon for more than 4,000 years. Founded in 1946, Château Kefraya continues the legacy of the ancient Canaanites and Phoenicians who once made wine for the Pharaohs and traded it far and wide across the Mediterranean. Guided tours lead you through the vineyards to take in the panoramic views, past Roman ruins and then down into the cellars and arak distillery. Afterwards, enjoy walks in the grounds and dine at Le Relais Dionysos, with its views of the vines and mountains.
