Soneva Secret takes the Maldives' ‘one island, one resort’ concept to its logical extreme. Occupying the Makunudhoo Atoll, it hosts just 14 villas, each staffed by two dedicated butlers and a private chef who cooks bespoke meals on demand. Villas feature retractable roofs for stargazing from bed, private infinity pools and an upstairs massage room for in-villa treatments, with ingredients native to the Maldives. Beyond the villa, two dining destinations anchor the resort: the casual, driftwood-chic Living Room for relaxed all-day dining, and Out of This World – a circular fine-dining tower serving a seasonal tasting menu, which can be reached via zipline. The surrounding atoll rewards exploration. Manta rays gather just minutes away, and pods of dolphins are a near-daily sighting.
