True to its name, The Curator is a celebration of all things coffee and cocktails. More specifically, the front of the space serves as a hip third-wave coffee shop during the day, and cocktail service begins in the back in the evenings. David Ong opened the combination space inside a wine shop and deli in 2013, situated within the Prudential Building in Legazpi Village, until several years later when The Curator took over the entire floor plan. The small café has an industrial look with a labyrinth of exposed ceiling pipes and polished cement floors, and a similar bare-bones decor extends to the cocktail bar, where a modest nook contains the bartenders and bottles and several communal tables in the centre of the room encourage guests to mingle.
