Guests can eat in the warmly lit dining room or on a terrace overlooking the Atlantic, with menus inspired by Iberian flavours and rooted in Madeira's landscape. Seafood is the name of the game here – even the bread is served with butter seasoned with kelp salt and shaped as sardines. Seafood courses include filets of local catch topped with caviar and kaleidoscopic plates of shrimp sashimi dressed with samphire and herb oil.
