Il Gallo d'Oro
Located within the five-star The Cliff Bay hotel on Madeira Island, Il Gallo d’Oro has been run by French chef Benoît Sinthon since 2004. Guests can sit inside the romantic gold-and-pastel decorated restaurant or outside on the terrace with a stunning view out on to the Atlantic for a tasting menu of five to ten courses. Dishes are inspired by the Mediterranean and Iberian Peninsula and might include scarlet shrimps, king crab with avocado and gazpacho or seabream ceviche with passionfruit.
