One of those glamorous five-star hotel bars that could easily churn out the most generic of cocktail selections and still see a steady trade. Thankfully, that's not the case at Anti:dote at the Fairmont Singapore. It aims to counter decision parylsis with a menu sectioned into three moods: Confident; Indulge; and Reset, each tailored to an emotional need. Expect concoctions such as the Fatigue Fix, which tackles brain fog with cucumber-infused rum, lacto-fermented strawberry and citrus, or Main Character Energy, made from rye whisky, dry vermouth, cherry and berry liqueur and verjus. Music plays a central role as well, with vinyl DJ sets, jazz sessions and intimate 'listening experiences' adding depth to the atmosphere. Soak it all up with a spread of moreish bar snacks, from salted cod churros to the Iberian pork and foie gras sliders.
