Slovenian-inspired tapas is the name of the game at this sleek restaurant. Think wind-dried prosciutto and lardo, cheeses from local farms, roasted octopus and roe deer chuck over Warhol prints and Tolix chairs – or if the weather is good, a candlelit courtyard at Ljubljana’s historic city centre. There are also three- and five-course tasting menus prepared by chef Jakob Pintar. TaBar also has an extensive list of Slovenian wines, including orange wine.
