This classy venue is set over three floors, each with their own distinct, eclectic feel, and complete with a damn-near perfect balcony overlooking Cape Town’s Signal Hill. Vintage sports memorabilia is littered throughout – a nod to the building’s former owner, a pharmacist and sports fanatic who operated a speakeasy in the basement. There’s a solid list of classics available, including a few barrel-aged options, alongside a selection of signature drinks that push the boat out a little further, with some interesting homemade ingredients and flavour combinations. It’s worth grabbing a bite to eat from the bar’s Mediterranean-inspired menu, and catching one of the regular live music performances.
