As the name suggests, superstar chef Daniel Berlin is the creative force behind the menu at Österlen's Vyn Restaurant. Situated on a hill in a former farm with awe-inspiring views of the Baltic Sea, the building has a number of spaces including a formal restaurant, casual wine bar, two private dining rooms and a 15-room boutique hotel. Spotlighting seasonal, local and sustainable ingredients – as well as dishes that use the whole animal – standout creations include his wild reindeer carpaccio, garnished with berries and roots, a perfectly cooked whole fish with house-made herb butter and succulent slow-cooked lamb.
