The Bangkok outpost of luxury hotel group Capella is home to Stella, an elegant venue that combines a cocktail bar with a pâtisserie to excellent effect. Upon entering, guests are greeted by Art Deco-inspired interiors, a striking marble bar and spectacular river views. The cocktail menu reflects a "spirited odyssey" of new Siam, taking guests on a journey through royal Thai traditions reimagined for the kaleidoscopic spirit of modern-day Bangkok. Highlights include the bar's signature tequila-based cocktail, Electric Lotus, whose name references the lotus, an emblem of balance, elegance and evolution at the heart of this chapter, and Street to Sky, infused with basil and pomelo, which pays tribute to the city's ever-rising skyline and the Isaan spirit of Bangkok's new generation.
