The restaurant at the heart of the eponymous luxury manor hotel in Dartmoor National Park offers a series of dining experiences from afternoon tea to a seven-course tasting menu in its intimate, wood-panelled dining room. Seasonal dishes such as veal sweetbreads, hand-dived Scottish scallops and salt chamber aged beef fillet are available on the à la carte and tasting menus, and there’s a well-thought-out vegetarian degustation with Wye Valley asparagus, celeriac with wild mushrooms and blood orange curd with shortbread.
