Located opposite the sprawling Clapham Common, The Dairy is one of London’s best-value fine-dining restaurants. Chef Robin Gill and wife Sarah, who is in charge front of house, cut their teeth under Raymond Blanc at Le Manoir. The tasting menu showcases delicate bites and flavours, with the bread course being a winner as sourdough comes served with chicken liver mousse and smoked bone marrow butter. A dessert of salted caramel, cacao and malted barley ice cream is to die for and has been a mainstay since the restaurant opened in 2013. The à la carte offers extensive vegetarian options, often grown in the restaurant’s rooftop garden.
