The Inferno Room
Indianapolis, US
Head to Fountain Square in Indianapolis for some of the finest tiki cocktails in the Midwest, found in the fun, immersive space that is The Inferno Room. The interior draws on the best that tiki has to offer, taking inspiration from Hawaii, Papua New Guinea and more. The Luau Room within the bar is a tribute to actor and Indiana-native Steve Crane, who set up a number of tiki venues in the 1950s. The Inferno Room also houses what is thought to be one of the largest collections of Papua New Guinea native art to be found outside of a museum. Dishes drawing on the cuisine of the South Pacific and the Caribbean are served alongside tiki classic cocktails and more contemporary creations.
