New York, US
This first-floor bar flies in the face of typical New York destinations – it’s open and bright with hues of green and blue among the more typical darker tones of wood. It’s even got a window. Pouring Ribbons, which made The World’s 50 Best Bars list in 2013, has a global reputation thanks in part to its inventive cocktails and because of co-owner Joaquín Simó, who designed the space to be ergonomic for the bartenders and a home away from home for the guests. Drinks pull out innovative ingredients and constantly set new trends while service is affable and fast paced.
