Combining their vision of upscale New American dining and drinking, former French Laundry alumni Anthony Secviar (chef) and Dennis Kelly (sommelier) opened Protégé in 2018. Offering two dining spaces, order à la carte in The Lounge or sample the five-course tasting menu in The Dining Room. Highlights include an Alaskan king crab ‘chateaubriand’ and a nine-layer lasagne made with porcini marmalade. The wine programme is naturally superb, highlighting the world’s most exceptional vintages, and you can enjoy a cocktail at the stylish bar.
