The background: Located at the Four Seasons Dubai Jumeirah Beach Restaurant Village, Mimi Kakushi is a sleek, stylish space inspired by 1920s Japan, serving contemporary Japanese cuisine.

Fun fine dining: Not just a place to see and be seen, the culinary offering goes beyond the usual dishes that diners in Dubai have come to expect from a lifestyle concept. Mimi head chef Vladimir Kim is of Russian-Korean origin and brings 24 years of experience to his role, presenting a diverse skillset from fiercely traditional dishes to show-stopping platters.

Raising the bar: In just over two years, Mimi Kakushi’s boundary-pushing bar programme, led by Manja Stankovic, has made its presence felt in both regional and global bar scenes. Most notably, Mimi Kakushi was included in The World’s 50 Best Bars’ extended list in 2023 year, where it sits at No.58.

Craveable dishes: Good restaurants are often defined by whether they have craveable dishes that keep you coming back for more and Mimi Kakushi has a slew of them. Namely, the baked bone marrow topped with beef tartare and the seasonal mushroom donabe rice pot.

All in the family: Mimi Kakushi is part of the Rikas Group, founded by Rizwan Kassim, which includes La Cantine de Faubourg, Lana Lusa, Gohan, Twiggy, Tagomago, Eugene Eugene and Xu in its UAE portfolio.
