Offtrack

Singapore

Killer drinks, dishes and sound system

Offtrack is the brainchild of entrepreneurs Dean Chew and Daniel O'Connor, who ideated the project during the pandemic and opened it in January 2022. Inspired by the pair's travels, the music-centric bar and restaurant has quickly become a favourite spot for the creative community in Singapore. The thoughtful selection of tracks, carefully designed sound system and acoustically enjoyable space were curated with devotion to create the best environment for music lovers. The playlist is always evolving but never leaves out jazz, soul and forgotten Asian music gems of yesteryear.

The food menu showcases pan-Asian dishes in the form of sharing plates, including an addictive dashi mascarpone dip with house-made sourdough roti and aubergine 'fries' doused in Sichuan peppercorn and sweet and sour glaze. Meanwhile, head bartender Joash Conceicao masterminds the creation of delicious concoctions where classic cocktails are reimagined. The House Espresso Martini supercharges the classic with orange blossom and dry curaçao for a fruitier edge, while the Rum & Raisin Manhattan, made with rum, PX sherry and hazelnut, is a comforting rendition. Paintings of different artists from Singapore and the surrounding region can be found hanging on the walls of Offtrack as part of its rotating exhibitions.
