Set in Dubai’s Four Seasons Resort complex on Jumeirah Beach Road, Mimi Kakushi is an atmospheric space and concept that transports visitors back to 1920s Osaka. Led by Manja Stankovic, the peninsula-style bar has become a destination for the city’s discerning diners and imbibers since the concept was founded in 2021. Inspired by Mimi Kakushi’s modern Japanese menu with playful twists on authentic flavours, Stankovic has developed an offering of cocktails featuring premium Japanese ingredients and immersive experiences featuring his renowned ice-encased cocktails where guests are given an ice pick to chip them out. In just over two years, Mimi Kakushi’s boundary pushing bar programme has led the way in the UAE and this year it breaks the 50 Best list for the first time, winning the title for The Best Bar in the Middle East and Africa 2023 as it does so.
