The Gresham Bar

Brisbane, Australia

The heritage-listed building that houses The Gresham was built in 1885 for the Queensland National Bank. The front bar still contains the bank's drop safe, not to mention a serious collection of whisky, while the Drawing Room is a more cosy, luxurious space – with even more whisky. There's an inclusive door policy and no dress code, resulting in a diverse crowd. There's also a compact cocktail selection, including on-point drinks such as ‘Death and Taxes’, made with Jameson Irish Whiskey, pineapple, ginger, spiced honey and smoke.
