Founded by two best friends, Bruder (translates to brother) is dominated by a wall full of jars holding house-made cocktail ingredients. Fermentation is at the core of things here, but there's also some pickling action on the go, alongside bitters and infusions. Cocktails are creative and distinctive, like the Wegen Reichtum Geschlossen, which brings together the flavours of quince, lemon, ginger and dill, with fancy garnishes the order of the day, plus there's an ever-changing seasonal food menu. The team spent the 2020 lockdown hard at work on a retail offering, which includes food like homemade labneh and drinks like their own biodynamic take on prosecco – Brosecco – clever, huh?
