Josef Cocktail Bar is a Baroque-style venue that's full of surprises, not least its neighbou: the sister bar Josef Highball Bar. Both are well worth a visit and crafted with the same meticulous attention to both the interiors and the menu. This cosy cocktail den has a distinctly old school speakeasy vibe with low lighting and quilted leather-backed chairs. Yet the cocktails are refreshingly modern and very good fun – if you've got a sweet tooth you might be tempted by the Crazy Lebowski, which pays tribute to The Dude's favourite White Russian in its blend of vodka, homemade coffee liqueur, caramel stout and buttermilk-white chocolate liqueur. Swing by after a gig or two, this bar stays open until 3am nightly.
