Since Howard’s Gourmet opened in 2015, it has become a favourite of Hong Kong A-listers, with its gilded bar, stark-white walls and floor-to-ceiling views of the harbour. Helming the kitchen is Guangzhou celebrity foodie Howard Cai who crafts dishes according to the produce he can procure that day. His signatures include crispy sea cucumber, giant conch in soup and hot and sour noodles. The restaurant is operated by Lai Sun Dining, the same folks behind 8 ½ Otto e Mezzo Bombana.
