Two Moons

Macau, China

What began in 2020 as a haven for whisky enthusiasts has evolved into a bar devoted to fine spirits, particularly the rarer and more unexpected. By day, Macau’s Two Moons functions as a stylish café opposite the Portuguese consulate, where coffee is treated with the same care and precision as the cocktails served later on. As evening falls, the focus shifts firmly to spirits. Whisky still anchors everything, but the shelves stretch far beyond Scotland, featuring distillates from across the world. The cocktail list is intentionally tight, with drinks simply numbered one to ten, but the range is impressively eclectic – from Spanish brandy to Japanese shochu and lots in between. There’s also an eleventh option: a bespoke cocktail shaped around your tastes and the bar team’s imagination.
