Coretta

Paris, France

Located in North Paris’ work-in-progress Clichy-Batignolles eco-district, on the edge of the Martin Luther King park, Coretta was named in honour of the civil rights activist’s wife. Opened in 2015 by Matthieu Marcant and Beatriz Gonzalez, the modern, oak-filled space is arranged over two storeys, with the upstairs offering treetop views. Expect local ingredients and colourful garnishes of edible flowers and sprouts. Representative of the menu is a zingy gazpacho made with Ananas Zebra tomatoes, a new hybrid heirloom variety, topped with prawns and served with artisan bread and herbed butter.
